Two fuel-efficient gas engines are offered to power the Jaguar XF; both are 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged, one making 247-horsepower and the other pushing a massive 296-horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Each is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The S and SE trims are both rear-wheel drive while all-wheel drive is available on the R-Dynamic SE trim. Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, automatic stop/start technology for increased fuel efficiency, push button start, an 11.4-inch touchscreen, wireless device charging, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, and a smart device controlled remote engine starter, and a 12-speaker audio system. The SE trim adds 19-inch wheels, navigation system with real-time traffic and weather display, keyless entry, memory settings for the front seats, door mirrors and steering wheel, internet radio, and a traffic sign information system. The all-wheel drive R-Dynamic SE features 19-inch alloy wheels, a power sunroof, heated sport bucket front seats, leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, an HD satellite radio, and a sport steering wheel. Standard safety equipment across the lineup includes front and rear parking sensors, an active lane departure system, active blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, pedestrian detection system and a driver attention alert.
